We are registered as Data Controller, Registration Number ZA210147, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 (the “Act”).

Information we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you: 

Information you give us:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site. This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our service, placing an order on our site, entering a competition or promotion, posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.

  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

  • Information you may give us may include your name, address, email address and phone number, financial and credit card information, personal description and photograph.

Information we collect about you:

  • Details of transactions you carry out through our site, including invoicing, collecting payment and of the fulfilment of your orders.

  • Details of your visits to our site and the resources that you access, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URL) clickstream to, through and from our site, products you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages and page interaction information.

  • We may receive information about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide.  We are also working closely with third parties (including, for example, business partners, sub-contractors in technical, payment and delivery services, advertising networks, analytics providers, search information providers) and may receive information about you from them.

We may obtain information about your general internet usage by using cookie files which are stored on the hard drive of your computer. These cookies collect information and are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. Where we store your personal data

The data we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).  It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers.  Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order, the processing of your payment details and the provision of support services.  By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing.  We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. Our website is hosted by Squarespace, whose server is in the USA.

Where we have given you (or you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain points of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential.  We ask you not to share this password with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

Information you give us.  We will use this information:

  • To ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.

We may make use of the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with our advertisers' wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience.

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with this Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.
